make better grades

I assume this is going to be about making better grades. My problem isn’t really a lack of ability but im just extremely lazy i dont do homework at all

i might have done well on my finals. i certainly studied hard enough. i decided i’m retaking math because i usually make decent grades without actually being good at it. and besides, i felt really annoyed when i got a tutor and it was kind of late to bring my grades up. with the help of a tutor and not coming into class late everyday i should do fine on every quiz.

i don’t think my quiz flew with me so well. i hope there are more extra credit opportunities. i need at least a c.

i’m currently a student at kent state university. throughout high school, i’ve maintained an honors student. my school district isn’t exactly dumb, and i got into kent after they saw my grades. when i graduated, i had almost a 4.0.

but i’m doing bad here. in every class but college writing, i am doing poorly and i feel discouraged. since midterm grades came out, i’ve decided to go see a tutor about my math which i’m failing as of now.

my first tutoring session was this wednesday. i got the lesson much better, and am actually looking forward to the next exam.

i doubt i can have the grades i want for this term. it’s probably too late for that. it doesn’t mean i’m not trying to pull them up right now but for next semester i hope my grades will be a lot better. but next semester, i’m taking math again, so i dont need to have that included into my gpa and have my new one instead. i also want to take tutoring next semester.

i never was good at math but the lowest grade i ever got in it was a c. it doesnt mean i never struggled with it. but im having a hard time here with other subjects i didn’t even struggle in, like us history. but i really did study hard for those tests and got a d on both of them. i don’t know what i did wrong but i want to get 100 on my next exam.

i go to my intro to mass communication study group meetings now. my last test compared to my other ones was 20% higher but still not 100, and i think i got extra credit for going to the session.

my first realistic goal is to ace my intro to mass comm quiz grade (90% and up) then i should be able to ace my test too if i do good on the quiz on top of the study sessions for some extra credit. i anticipate a c+ or higher for now.

High school is over and though this goal may come back up, right now I’m going to consider it complete.

Graduation is in a week. I can’t say that I made straight A’s, but I was pretty darn close. My GPA is looking very nice. Now we’ll see how college will go…
