For the past two weeks the ways have been simple repeating number 6
7. Buying him unexpected gifts
8. Just saying it
9. Kisses – lots and lots of kisses
4. Van Morrison – just email, call or text Van Morrison meaning have I told you lately that I love you.
5. Make his favourite meal and write I luv u with the sauce. Okay so that didn’t quite work but I told him that I cooked because I love him
6. In the bedroom – need I say more
3. This time was just a SMS text message that said I love you this much
2. Send silly e-cards to every single email address he has including his yahoo and hotmail accounts.
Reaction to Number 1: -
He loved the notes for the first three – (on the toilet,on our son – said Mummy loves Daddy;on the nappy change table) then after that there was a little less enthusiasm (there was another one on the computer and one with this vitamin tablets)by number 5 he started to screw them up as he read them giving me the your funny look. He particularly thought I was funny when he found number six on his pillow that said – do you want to have an affair with me – no strings attached. But hey we had a one night affair anyway hehehe.
In the morning he found another 3 – (one inside his protien shake powder; one under the kettle and one inside his underpants) I also put one on his car door – but he hasn’t said anything about that one and tonight at the gym he will find one on his gym towel – hope that doesn’t embarass him in front of his mates.
1. *Post it notes – pink ones with little messages of love all over the house – his car – his lunch box – his gym bag etc…
I’ll try to remember to keep you posted on all the ways I come up with and the reaction I get.
