I took the 43 Things Personality Quiz and found out I’m aCreative Romantic Reinventer

Lost 1 month ago

I have no clue how to find a passion in life. Frankly, I think this is silly. I have taken the classes and taken the tests and I feel like I have wasted time and money.
I don’t know what I want to do or what I should do…..

Where I Am Right Now 3 months ago

So I’ve taken some requisite personality tests that’d supposedly help me in my quest to find my calling: MBTI, True Colors, Holland Code (Strong Interest & Strong Confidence), etc..

I think I now know some of the things which I need to make me happy (I.e. knowledge, technology and respect), but I don’t have the required skills to get into the fields I’m interested in.

I also have doubts that my present self-identified career choice really aligns with my natural strengths and interests.
The quest to finding my life’s passion continues.

Strong Interest – Investigative / Conventional / Artistic / Enterprising

My life as a mediocre 30-something... 5 months ago

As I get older, I realize my life hasn’t gone the way I always dreamed it. Being close to 40, I still don’t know what I want to do with my life. My secret dream has always been to be on Broadway in musicals, but I have always been afraid to take that first step. I’m afraid of putting in so many years into something and failing and then being upset at all the time I can’t get back. I am stuck and have been stuck for so many years. I don’t know how to get unstuck. I’m not living, I’m just alive. I am always jealous of people who have found their passion and are doing it and doing it successfully. I wonder why that can’t be me!

Was I right or wrong? 2 years ago

I used to know what my passion was. I wanted to be an architect, now I’m halfway there. I have a degree in architecture and I’ve been a national representative of architecture students. I’ve got a job in architecture and I have had fun and found a boss I would also call a friend. Now though I’m not so sure if the career is how I imagined it would be when I decided I wanted to do it and I’m not sure I’ve found my passion after all.

I don’t know now whether I have been focussing blindly on a childhood dream for years and didn’t notice that it wasn’t what I wanted or whether I’ve just lost my way. I don’t know where to turn or what direction to go in. The thought that the last 6 years of my life have been based on a false dream is scary and no matter how hard I try I can’t quite get my head round it. If its merely a blip I’m not sure I know what has caused it or how to right the situation.

Living with Passion 4 years ago

I read about people who have a passion in life. They wake up each day excited to be doing what they love. I am envious. I have never been one of those people who always new what they wanted to be in life. The things I enjoy doing (but only when I feel like doing them) are drawing, sewing, crocheting and knitting, cross stitching…mostly crafty things. I want to be able to make a living doing something I love. I am still looking.

and so have you!!! 4 years ago
