Love.
Integrity.
Family.
Security.
Dogs!
Service.
My body.
these are the things that matter to me.
4. Dogs!
“In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn’t merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog” ~Edward Hoagland
My dog was attacked by a rottweiler on Monday and got torn up pretty bad. It was an unprovoked attack and though she was off-guard and outside her weight class she fought back like a hero.
She’s full of stiches right now, but she doesn’t sulk. She’s not bitter, she doesn’t hate anyone for it, she doesn’t think her scars and wounds make her ugly or disfigured. Her opinion of herself is no poorer for losing. We go out to the park and she’s just as happy as she was last Sunday, no meaner, not bitter, unafraid and un-selfconscious.
How can I be reborn as a dog?
3. Family.
Love and duty is both obligation and reward with family.
2. Integrity.
“I have had more trouble with myself than with any other man I have ever met” ~Dwight Lyman Moody
