How to sit somewhere with a great view, a great friend, and a damn decent bottle of wine.
It made me
 "Nearly every weekend i watch the sunset over lake dillon from my patio with friends and a good bottle of wine. It's amazing."
How I did it: I tour the willamette valley in oregon and find great Pinot which i buy by the case. I love cooking and having people over for dinner, and have an unreal view of lake dillon and Buffalo Mtn. Almost every time i have friends over for dinner, there is a quiet moment around sunset just drinking wine and appreciating the view. It really is breathtaking. Lessons & tips: Buy wines you like by the case, live somewhere with a view, have friends. Resources: Mother nature.

philosophe is a "healthy, extroverted builder" today. and again, 0% are like me.
How I did it: there's something intrinsically calming about wine, friendship, and beautiful surroundings. my best friend and i used to swing by the store, pick up a bottle of reisling, get some brie and water crackers, and head to our favorite hill late at night. we'd overlook the city and be silent together, basking in the enormity of the universe and the simplicity of our togetherness.it's a good ritual. definitely worth doing at least once. This is a win win win for me. I’m glad I saw this on another list. My friend and I plan on road tripping once she gets to Colorado. I’ll pack a couple bottles of wine, preferably Riesling, and hit the road with her. I’ll know the spot when I see it. I will want to do this numerous times throughout my life. I guess I better make sure I always have a bottle with me.

I know we will. He’s saying he’ll take me to dinner and dancing, but he’s working two jobs now, so I want to take it easy, have dinner and drinks, and come home. I know, I’m starting to sound like I’m twice my age, but I miss him during the week, and I want to be a tad bit selfish with our time together.

I just have such a great desire to do this. I don’t know that I would like to do it with a great friend though, maybe a stranger. I don’t know but this will be done in the summer of 09 deffinately. This seems like something I would sincerely enjoy.

I’ve already done this. With Kenneth at the Landing. The view being the St. John’s River, which, from the sushi restaurant, is absolutely georgous. And I’m sure that two glasses of plum wine each makes a bottle. I’m keeping this on my list, only because I want to do that again. I’ve adopted this goal after we had done that, and I want to do this again; whether there or somewhere else.
