_Belle_ is feeling much better now! I'm divorced! yay
I’ve been having a lot of dreams related to this topic lately. They’ve been teaching me to de-sensitize my emotional “reactive” part when it comes to other’s bad behavior towards me. The dreams have shown me I don’t have to “re-act”... but use emotional restraint and an emotionally “centered” response, or no response at all.. not to internalize.

My exhusband will be going to jail (again) for what he did to me. I’m still healing my life. I haven’t seen him or had any contact with him since the day he was arrested almost a year ago.
Much of my ex’s manipulation involved playing on my sensitivity. When he wasn’t brutalizing me, he acted like a helpless child.
I found the lyrics to a song by Björk recently, and some of the words struck a chord within me regarding that aspect of the relationship, and how I will no longer tolerate abuse of any kind. ever. again.
ARMY OF ME
Stand up
You’ve got to manage
I won’t sympathize
Anymore.
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
You’re alright
There’s nothing wrong
Self-sufficience please!
And get to work.
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
Army of me
You’re on your own now
We won’t save you
Your rescue-squad
Is to exhausted
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
And if you complain once more
You’ll meet an army of me
Army of me
