buy my hubby a birthday present

the iPod nano for him. I showed him the page and asked him which color he wanted. There were six colors and he could not decide among that many. So I said, “For you, I would pick the black or the red. Which one do you like?” A choice of two was easy. He said, “The red.”

His iPod is ordered. And wow, they engrave it for free! I decided to put a quotation on it. Only a short one would fit, and I could not fit an attribution in. But what the hey, Hans Christian Andersen is not around to sue me. His iPod will say, “When words fail, music speaks.” Appropriate, since words sometimes do fail my dear N. since his stroke, but music speaks to him and always has.

for N. on the computer. He was very interested in the technology aspect of it. How did the song come through the computer? How was it stored? (He knew all this before the stroke, but it has apparently left him). We talked about MP3 files and how people did not need CDs any more, they could store files on a computer or in an iPod.

So N. has decided he wants an iPod. He shall have it. :)
