Ive been wanting to do this for a while now. I know that it is a little leaner and sweeter than beef, and supposedly better for you. Since I am having such a hard time keeping my iron levels normal I have been eating a lot more red meat than usual and I am worried that my cholesterol is going to be raised.
I was also surprised to see that bison steaks were cheaper in the stor by three or four dollars a pound. So I picked a couple up this afternoon and have them marinating in red wine and garlic.
