How to do a bungee jump by pettybo

"A fantastic experience all around - I got to fly...umm..more like dive without the water."

How I did it: I went with a meetup group who introduced me to the company Bungee America(in business for 19 yrs & has a solid reputation. Remember guys...do your research!). I did two jumps with body harness - a back and front swan dive.


Lessons & tips: Tips:

  •  Know that you will be afraid but don't let fear get in the way(your fear is worse then the actual action).
  • Just do it - Decide that you're going to jump.
  • Follow the company's instructions(very simple..safety & a more fun experience).
  • Keep your eyes open!!! (as with everything in life, If you don't record an experience(mentally/written/etc), It might as well not have happened. Much like the tree in the forest falling and no one is there to see it.) Experience everything! :)

    I did it!

    Well, I knew I wanna do it, but I hadn’t knew when. When my friend said he wants to do the same we just scheduled it, and did it! The distance, whe cost, the weather didn’t matter. We jumped on a highest bungee in Poland.

    Now I know the fear of jump is the only reasonable fear one should feel,

    I want to do it again!

    I did a bungee jump a few weeks ago up in Letterkenny. I had to raise 100 euro (it was for charity). My sister and brothers did it last year and I was so jealous that I’d missed out. The weird thing is that I wasn’t nervous about it. I didn’t really think about it until I was getting strapped up.

    The nerves only came when the crane started to pull the cage up. The guy said 3..2..1… bungee and I went. I didn’t hesitate but as soon as i did it my mind went beserk. The adrenaline was mental! I was on a high for the rest of the day! I would definetly recommend it to anyone who’s interested.

    Next I plan to do a skydive!
