Manage my web presences and get my business in order without becoming too schizophrenic

Since I rid myself of a couple of web ids and put myself on a schedule with all the social networks I belong to, I am OK!

So in the interest of time, efficiency, and just plain common sense, I have purged myself of one o my web presences, which means that life has become a little less hectic. Ahhhh…exhale.

So far, each site looks completely different from the other. I tend to get “caught up” and wound up staying awake past 3 in the morning working on the interweb. Time really does fly when you are having fun!

I have several websites: one for my company (which I am working on feverishly); one that uses my government name and is really for updates about my work (teaching, publishing, a brief bio and things of that nature)—I post either an update or some sort of commentary on a regular basis; another which qualifies as a mommy blog (no place for that on my other sites; and the final site (which I am working feverishly on) is, well, a secret (for now).

I am working really hard (really hard) on making sure I keep these identities separate while maintaining some sort of over-arching theme. Ugh!
