I went to the dentist (actually a friend of mine) and she was great! She x-rayed my teeth, said it was intact and cleand it up a little bit. She said I need to floss and that my visit shoulkd really be once a year. She’ll even remind me when to come :) I really have the best dentist ever! And I’m soooo happy with my teeth now. I really appreciate that they’re healthy:)
That’s done and over with :D

It’s so important to have regular dental check-ups!
I read a story in the Toronto Star about a man that went BLIND because he had dental problems and didn’t have them fixed! I cut it out and sent it to a friend who works in the field to show the staff and patients.
Why? Most patients don’t take dental health seriously. A checkup, twice a year, can catch small problems before they become HUGE ones!

Hope to visit the dentist by the end of the year. Its been 4 years
since my last visit. Whilst I dont have any pain etc.. I want to set this as a goal so I can do it. It wont be easy as I get panicky.

I don’t think the dentist did a very good job on my filling! several weeks later, and its still a bit tender… Cencelled my next appt, not directly because of that, mostly because of cash-flow, and because I don’t think I really need another filling at this stage… Will go back for another clean in 6 months time – can highly recommend that.

Of course, the dentist did not have one good thing to say about my teeth. perhaps I should make a long-term goal ‘to have a trip to the dentist where he or she can find absolutely nothing negative to say about the state of my teeth – in fact, to impress a dentist with how bloody good my teeth are’. can’t see it happening in the forseeable future though… Have to go back to get some cavities filled – i’m going to hacve more fillings than teeth soon. I can highly recommend having the dentist clean yer teeth, though… mmmm, ring of confidence…

I brush, floss and love my teeth like crazy so I could go about three years with no dentist right? Wrong. I have eight cavaties, one has a medicated filling, the other resulted in a tooth canal. I am in so much pain and have been since my reunion with the dentsit last month. I still have a lot of work to go.
If I had just kept on top of things and had my cleanings I could avoid the trouble, pain and expense. I am pretty mad at myself. I swear I will never ever do this again. I have my next cleaning in Janary. Yay for cleanings, they beat root canals!

Gosh, it just seems impossible to find a happy-reliable-caring-talented dentist nowadays. The one I used to see regularly would be the best butcher ever, but not the best dentist indeed.

With my new dentist, I’ve stopped dreading going. The previous dentist had a very noisy office, and I found I really disliked going. Today’s model was a pecking chicken.

It took me a long time (more than 4 decades) to find a dentist that I really like. (It took me no time at all to find many dentists I disliked.)
I asked a LOT of people if they could highly recommend their dentists, and when the last person I asked recommended the dentist I now see, I took her recommendation because she sounded far more enthusiastic about her dentist than anyone else ever had.
I’ve been seeing this dentist for a few years now. I go regularly. I never thought I’d see the day.
