Went to his school today…Met all his teachers and was very depressed with hearing what they had to say! But got out of it- decided to talk to him and take up his lessons myself without the tuition help!
Good luck to me!

I need to reassess the situation – talk to my son – give him a minimum of 1 hour to talk to him – when HE is free not when I want it – It gets rushed then and I don’t get what I want to say.
I think I should write it down to get it clear and concise. Hmmn should do that today or tomorrow… latest.

I just went mad at him his morning – And felt miserable afterwards. Planning to sit and have a heart to heart talk with him – coming halfway – and negoiating his study time and play time, And instead of just asking him to study – Sit with him… Phew!

Did not go to school – I don’t want to push him although I am tempted to make him do SOMETHING!!! :(
I should just let him rest today!

Made a question paper and asked my son to attempt it. Praised him profusely just for making the attempt without evaluating – Told him that it is important just to make an attempt – the result doesn’t matter – I have given myself 10 cheers for this one!!!

I have genuinely shown interest in his studies and have succeeded in motivating him to do it regularly – baby steps – He is excited about all that interest generated in his studies and willing to comply. He is motivated even. Well that is for today…
