Get accepted to and participate in a Taller Portobelo Norte Summer Art Colony in 2009.

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be an artist and writer. Instead, I embraced (or was pushed toward) science and technology. I would try and try to be creative, but always had this overwhelming self-doubt.

I have now come to recognize that my entire life up to now is what I need to use in order to really create the art that will will tell/share my story—the only one I can tell.
