make a butterfull for my friend's toddler

I finished assembling and embellishing the toy last night. It’s really cute! Once I take a picture, I’ll post it here for you guys to see…

I’ve finished the body and wings and only need to knit a few little pieces of it. Next I have to assemble it and do a lot of embroidery. I think it’ll be really cute once I finish it off.

A friend of mine at work is having a horrible week and I’ve felt really helpless about it. I’ve felt like there’s really nothing I can say or do that will help her out.

Earlier today I realized that even if I can’t help, I can at least make her something, and a toy for her toddler would be good. I’m making this cute pattern from mochimochiland. I dug some yarn out of my stash this morning and got started on the body of it. Since I’m making it for a little girl, I’m using pink on pink on pink… It should be really cute!
