After years of hinting to boyfriends, a husband, family, etc, that I would like to have a nice pair of diamond earrings, I decided to buy myself a pair. I’m not getting any younger, and they are such a wonderful accessory. I’m not disappointed, and have not one regret. They are exactly what I’ve always wanted, and are an incentive to always dress well.
Of course, the romantic in me wistfully wishes that my one true love might have been the one to gift me with these lovelies. Perhaps in my next life.
Diamonds are forever.
