Spent most of the weekend cleaning my house for a mom’s group meeting today.
I tried to be focused on the woman and not my anxiety about what didn’t get cleaned.

since I got this great idea, I have cleaned less than ever!
I’m still very much into step one of “get myself in the frame of heart and mind that I want to open my house perpetually to guests.” BUT I haven’t done much to clean at all. Even less. I guess I’m focusing on the things that are about maintainance- YES that’s it!
I have painted the rusting window in the bathroom, and I am hanging curtains. I think I need this more right now, because I always just clean and never make things that bug me, finally “nice.”

Remember to not take the short cut or the “loooong road”. Just get each thing done with a time limit in mind.
