Decide what to do about my education

I missed the registration date because the university didn’t bother telling me when it was. I am glad that I missed the registration date because it helped me make my decision. I am no longer going to waste my time studying.

I got the results and it looks like I passed. I was kind of hoping that I wouldn’t pass so that I could give up this annoying studing stuff.

I had a look again at all the courses they have available but I ended up realizing that the one I am studying now is the best one they have available. It is just so boring. I think that I like the name of the qualification and the job it will get me but I don’t like the things I have to study to get it.

I need to decide quickly because the more time I spend thinking about it the less extra time I will have to study. I am thinking about cutting down the number of subjects from 4 modules per year to 2 modules. That means it will take me about 16 years to finish it.

I have recently finished my exams for the course I am busy with. I will be getting the results soon. If they are good then I will carry on but if they are bad I will just give up on education and work on my own business.

I am now interested in studying Science. I like the idea of studying Science because Scientists are highly respected. I have been reading about physics and chemistry on wikipedia and it is all very fascinating. I like the idea of being an Astrophysicist.

I still like business and I think that studying business is more in line with my life goals. It will certainly benefit me since I am starting my own business soon.

I decided to study something else at the beginning of this year because I got bored of what I was studying last year. I am now getting bored of what I am studying at the moment.

I think studying is just not for me. I am a practical kind of person who likes learning things by doing them and not wasting time studying the theory. So much of what I am studying will never be used.

I don’t like the idea of giving up my studies though because a lot of people will be disappointed in me. I went around telling everyone that I am studying a BCom and now they all think I am wonderfully clever. If I stop they will think I am stupid.

I have to focus on starting my business. Starting a business is practical and that is the kind of thing I do best at.
