drop, push or launch gummy bears from 43 high places

This has been a very fun goal and probably the silliest ever. Thanks everyone for joining in the fun and cheering me on. It has been great. And now it is good that I’m finally closing it off. Carrying around gummy bears in a little tin is sure to affect one’s personality. (I hate to think what throwing them off high places does to one’s karma.)

”....the gummy bear thing… I thought that was just me!!! Well, it’s not always high places, but it’s weird places like, I HAVE to have gummy bears on airplane rides because I hide one somewhere on the plane, somewhere where it can’t be gotten to. And other weird places, like under an Arch at Arches National park, inside a redwood tree house on my honeymoon, in lakes at the end of hikes, andI most likely will leave one around Stonehenge when I get to go.”

and that is how this goal came about… after commenting on and enjoying tangerine craziness I added this goal. I love finding kindred spirits. : D

With the help of a Wee Minion of my own, I have managed to get rid of gummy bear no. 42! Here he is, facing his destiny.

Yes, progress was made on this goal! This unlucky gummy bear travelled with me to Japan where he got too close to the edge of the bridge in Nagasaki. You can see his last moments on YouTube. (Yeah yeah the image is tilted. I found out too late and now I’m lazy. Deal with it. :D)

Ok, so I seen this goal on tangerine_now’s profile and after reading all of her entries decided that I had to steal this one (actually, now that I think about it, I think I’ve stolen a buunch of her goals, lol. Hope she doesn’t get mad and start trying to steal them back, lol.) Anyways, so yeah launching Gummies is definitely goin to the top of the list. I think this morning when I get out of work I will start shopping for the proper candidates (I don’t want it to be just any gummy!). Then it’s on to plotting out where these brave gummies will meet there demise. Seems like Detroit has plenty of perfect gummie launch pads, so I believe a trip to the city is in order….muah ha ha ha

It’s come to my attention that a significant number of gummy bears have deficiencies and abnormalities. Whether suffering from a common problem like color blindness or the far rarer velocardiofacial syndrome, several gummies in each package are substandard. This cannot be allowed to continue. I’ve taken it upon myself to improve the gummy gene pool by ensuring these imperfect specimens are not allowed to breed.

The forty-three worse offenders have been selected. Each one will be photographed individually to provide evidence of his or her failings before being swiftly dispatched.

All remaining gummies thank them, in advance, for their sacrifice.

Gavin was watching a black Swan in the river and got to close to the edge when the Swan disappeared under the bridge. pitty that’s how I lost Flower 2.

Unfortunately the real 39th gummy bear, thrown off the Rundetaarn in Copenhagen, is somehow deleted from my memory card. So this will be 39 instead: thrown in the arrivals hall of Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup). Byeee! (I heard him fall, he may have landed quite near someone…)
