Justme2575 still trying to get the new house organized!
Also did this yesterday. On the honeymoon it was worth it, I was young, with my wonderful full of energy husband, we were down in Mexico, the pictures were great. Yesterday, I didn’t do this on purpose, I couldn’t sleep, and gave up and got out of bed, just happened that the sun was coming up. It was beautiful the way the sun struck the house across the street and lite it up against the dark gray sky, but I’d rather have been asleep!
done this quite a few times, recently done some days work which involved driving east on the M4 watching the sunrise and driving home watching the same sun set.
Occasionally just getting up to watch it or taking a walk to watch it set from somwhere else

i had to do a meterology project where i had to draw where the sunrise was in the sky once a month. i thought i’d hate it, but its so…awakening and refreshing! i’m usually up for the sunrise now just because being awake for it makes me feel like i’m actually waking up with the whole world around me. its energizing!
and I try to do it still, whenever I’m down there.
It’s hard for a non-morning-person like myself to get up that early, but oh, it’s so worth it. Beautiful. Makes me feel badly for the West Coasters, who only get a sun_set_.
Drive with two friends, in a station wagon, at night to somewhere beautiful. You can all jam in the back of the station wagon and go to sleep (a bottle of wine will help you ignore the cramped conditions) and the sun will wake you up when it rises.
