Have to figure out what kind of club I want to start.

I may pull it off next week.

I want to start a super cool club, not like a lame one.

Because I was such a nerd in school, I actually started an environmental club. But it was fun and we accomplished a lot. We’d clean up around the school, started a recycling program and built bird houses . . . I felt like I was doing a good productive thing to sustain the environmental features that some people tend to pollute and neglect.

I started a club at my school a few months ago, but it’s still a major work in progress. It’s an environmentalist/humanist group, Earth ReJuvenation. I want to bring knowledge to the students and broaden their provincial lives. Trying to find dedicated people is a challenge. Now I have to work on maintaining projects and make sure others are inspired, informed, and active.

I have this idea to start a business networking club in my town – there isn’t one at the moment and I’m frustrated at the lack of opportunities I get to mingle with other business people. I’m not one of life’s natural schmoozers, so I’m not sure if this is a good idea – but it would help others, it would help me, and I might learn something. I’ll sit with this.
