drive a Ferrari

I want to blast down the Great Ocean road Australia and back to melbourne in a day. I will leave out my wife who screams at 60kmph on my hyundai back at the hotel and take my kid son along :) He would shout – “go dad go” :) Would be a lifetime experience.

Ferrari’s have got to be the sexiest car alive!!! Nothing like hearing the engine catch and hit the gas for turbo boosting down the street! I’m just assuming that that’s what it sounds like.

I have got to test drive one of those bad boys someday.

You can pay for driving days, agy age 12 and over to drive roun d a track with no speed limits in a ferrari, under 17s will get a quick crash course driving lesson first aswel, i did it for under £100!! One of the Best things i have ever done!

The car to end all cars, and I must drive one!

Well August 15th has been and gone and i have now driven a ferrari 360. Considering they are rear wheel drive with 400bhp they are surprisingly easy to drive and they make the most gorgeous sound when you floor it. My only moan is that i didn’t get enough time in it to really get to throw it about. I only got 3 laps in it and considering its a track ive never been on in a car ive never driven and ive got 30 other cars on the track with me its not really enough time. i was giving it a bit of stick on the last lap but really i think a good 10 laps is what you need to be able to understand the track and the car enough to really give it some proper abuse. And i didnt get to appreciate the car as much. It pulled up, you jumped in and off you went. 3 laps later you pull up, jump out and are replaced by someone else.

But it was worth it. now though it has created another goal…..i need to buy one. they’re going for around £45k and i’ve got 5. only another 40 to go!!!

Well i’ve booked my place at the race track. It was between the Porsche 996 turbo or the Ferrari 360. Even though ive been told the Porsche is quicker i couldn’t resist the temptation of the italian thoroughbred!!
So on August 15th 2008 i will have finally accomplished this goal!

Founds a place where you drive five sports cars in a day. Trying to get my brother-in-law to do this with me.

I dont need to actually own a ferrari because first off the purchase of one is something I would not blow money on (there are a million other things I would buy first) and second its just not my style. however it would be an experience to drive one, so I will take a day to rent one someday. I may switch to maybach or rolls

On xmas Eve i met adrian in the Old oak. I asked about his Ferrari and he had told me to call him on the thursday. But being xmas stuff happened. I never made it out to his place and xnas has come and gone and i still havent driven a Ferrari. To be honest there was something odd about it all. I got a strong impression that Adrian thought that this was all very foolish and rather than the opportunity slipping by I kind of let it go. I had this niggling feeling that it would have all turned out to be a bit awkward. Maybe its better to leave this go for now.
