Cali and I went for a jog even though it was dark out… two miles, came home feeling refreshed and complete after spending so much time at the doctor’s.
I’ve had to goad a bit, but everyone has been having so much fun. My son (18 months now) especially loves it.

I’m going to continue exercising, but I’d like to mark this goal as done. I already document in my normal workout forum and a private blog with my accountability partner.

I plan on doing a 60 min. Family Yoga class later this afternoon with my kids. —This never happened, as I had the wrong time for the class. My bad.

Skipped dance class this evening. In a funk and not feeling like groovin to funk.

My knees and elbows have been hurting. I believe I did skull crushers the other day incorrectly as the weight was too heavy. Duh. And my knees hurt from cycling, which I need to correct my positioning and tension.
I’ve been having heel pain and I know this is due to tight calf muscles. Today I used the medicine ball after using the foam roller to help me untighten the calf from the bottom to the top, hamstrings, quads, hips and back. This seems to have helped as I could feel the tension actually releasing and a coolness to my heels.
Gotta do this regularly to increase flexibility and to not have some of the muscle problems & pain I’ve been having.

- 70 min. of Latin Fusion dancing
This was totally fun. I greatly enjoyed it and felt freer this class than I did my first dance class last Thursday in a long time. This time I was the only one barefooted, but that was fine.
In Soul Grooves I’m going to be barefooted and Latin Fusion going to wear sneakers. I have a long way to go to look decent and have it look natural, but I burned over 600 calories, cut loose a little, and met my “Moving” goal for today that I have with my accountability partner.
Today with the exercise I did, I burned 2325 calories (I wear a heartrate monitor that has been programmed to the VO2 testing that is unique to me that I did in June. I’ll probably retake the test in Sep or Oct again to see if I’ve improved and reprogram my heartrate monitor.)
