I was inspired to adopt this goal by Aimee. Last night, I was all angry & needed a way to relax.
I found my old box of various kinds of crayons, and an Easter colouring book that I bought from the dollar store several years ago.
I spent about 30 minutes colouring pictures of happy bunnies. It made me feel a lot better.
I’d like to get a slightly nicer colouring book to use my coloured pencils on.

color fatigue

I bought 7 coloring books & some really nice colored pencils the other day & now I can’t stop coloring. I don’t think I’ve colored out of a coloring book since I was 8. It’s fun. Very relaxing.

I can’t wait to get started. I found some really cool coloring books on amazon – decorative tile coloring books, stained glass coloring books (Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, William Morris designs, Frank Lloyd Wright designs, Tiffany designs, Japanese designs, Arabic designs), geometric design coloring books, mandala coloring books.. ohmygoodness.. so excited.
Speaking of color, another website that I’ve become addicted to is COLOURlovers There’s something about thinking about color that is so relaxing. and fun. plus it helps with my job, so that’s a bonus.
