I am a miserable bloated pudding of failure who doesn’t seem to know what the word ‘sensible’ means. Have decided to reword this as a new goal for the new year and focus on ‘eating mindfully’.

Been doing ok, but the past few days I’ve started overeating again. However, the magic of 43T can fix this – as I type these words it helps me to gain fresh resolve. I’ve also decided I need to clarify the rules by which I will ‘eat sensibly’:
1. Eat mindfully. Which means knowing when I’m full and stopping.
2. No chocolate (except when offered) (Chocolate is my big binge-food).
3. No coffee, coke, etc. Black tea only once a day.
4. No binge food buying from supermarket / petrol station.
‘Tis written. Which helps it happen.
...not giving in to cravings for chocolate, etc. No coffee or coke. Not stopping at a petrol station and buying pasties, crisps, chocolates, drinks, buns and then eating them in the car when I’m actually full because I’ve just had breakfast.
I’ve managed it for 4 weeks, just have to keep going – really want this to be a new way of living (eating).
