Finished the book… pretty good… I was a little disappointed maybe because I read too many great comments about the story…
worth reading though…
How to read "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep"
How I did it: "Electric Sheep" was a little bit doomed for me since I'm not a big fan of science fiction (apart from Ballard). However, after a shaky start I do somewhat enjoy the novel. Some of the writing was quite poor, and the plot was incredibly flimsy, but some of the parallels with today's societies and the issues it raises were valid and compelling. A good quick read.

Philip has written some of the best sci-fi shorts and novels around, however this was the only one to become a great movie as well.
It’s one of my all time favorite movies, which is actually quite ironic since I personally believe that I don’t like sci-fi all that much.
The movie is based on this book. I’ve read excerpts from the book and it seems like it would really interest me. I just need to breakdown and buy the darn thing.

Robbie asks,
“Are the more recent publications of the book that have the movie cover the same as the original?”
