have my own library

I’ve loved books since I was about five years old, and I guess I’ll be reading them the rest of my life. They have broadened my horizon, expanded my knowledge and introduced me to worlds I had never dreamed of before. Books make me happy, and therefor I’d love to have a library of my own.

through this site and have decided to start my library by cataloging my books with this new library tool. Yay!

I want to have a room in my house dedicated to books,with a comfy chair and things.
I only have like 100 books so far.

i want to have in my house a room just to store all the books i’ve read… a huge room!

I have the whole thing designed. If I ever own a house, it will be a priority to set one room up as just a library.
I have amassed a large number of books, and they are scattered about on shelves. I want them to be in a real, loved, self-designed library!

I’m setting up a Library Information System (specifically the open source Koha system) for a specialty library in Chicago. I’d be willing to help anyone else with the details.

...most of which are sadly sitting in boxes in the guest house at my parents’ place in New York while I’m abroad. But, when I’m done with school again (this time for the last time) and I’m settled somewhere, I’ll have them back with me!

We now have a temporary library set up on the back wall which holds all our favourite books. It looks great and hopefully is the shape of things to come.

I’m gonna have a library… With books that I’ve actually read and liked.

After working in publishing for a decade, we have amassed lots of books. At the moment, we have a temporary set of units displaying our favourite works, but we are hoping to get a joiner to build bespoke shelves across one side of the dining area later in 2008 to hold double the amount.

One day, I would love a room dedicated to reading, writing and dreaming.
