mortonstoe It's thanksgiving. Nothing has changed.
I love coasters. Cedar Point is like the Graceland of rollercoasters.
Long live the King.
How I did it: I served tables in California and saved all my change that I had every day in a 5 gallon bucket for almost a year. at the end I had over $300. I fortunately had a friend that worked at the same restaurant who was a roller coaster buff. He lived near ceder point for 16 years prior to moving to cali. He planned the whole trip. We went to a machine that processes change and cashed in my trip money. It paid for my flight, food and fun.
Lessons & tips: Bring ibuprofen. It will help if you get headaches and since its an anti inflammatory it really helps with the head getting knocked around. You have to try the fired cheese sticks in the park, they are famous AND DELICIOUS!!
Resources: Dont just plan to go there once, it costs about $80 bucks. Cedar point owns cedar fair which means if you get a season pass for about $150 not only can you go to cedar point all you want if you live near knotts berry farm you can go there unlimited too. And since we lived 35 min from knotts berry farm, after we came back from ohio we got to go in california like 15 times that year

It is most definetly worth trying all of the coasters the first time you go. So then when you go a second time, you realize which ones are awesome and which just plain suck. Any times after that, you know the good ones and will figure out that it is better to spend your whole day just riding millenium force and the dragster. Nothing compares to those.
I was just in Northwest Ohio and we decided to skip Cedar Point only because I was with my husband, who does not ride coasters and my teenage son, who would have been riding alone, since I was unable to ride them at the time. Definitely cannot believe I was back for the first time in 6 years and skipped the point but will definitely make a ‘point’ to hit Cedar next season.
I live only about an hour away so i go prob 5-6 times every summer. It is sooooooooooooooooo much fun and every roller coaster has something different to offer. Missing out on cedar point has to be like a sin. The Maveric is now my all time favorite and you have to check it out!
my favourite amusement park on all of the NA continent! the two best coasters in my opinion are top thrill dragster and millennium force. best time to go is around the end of summer cause then most school kids are back in class and the lines are shorter!
CP is wicked awesome!!! Look out Maverick You are the only thing left to conquer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cedar Point is a classic. Everyone needs to go there atleast once and experience the greatest thing in Northen Ohio.
i grew up going to cedar point and still go there about once a summer. i’ve been on everything at least once and some things more times than i care to count. millennium force is hands down the best ride.
Cedar Point is SOO much fun! My favorite roller coastes are probably Millenium and Top Thrill. I’ve been to Cedar Point so many times, I don’t really care to ride the other’s.
If you’re going to ride the Raptor, wait until later in the day because it is the first roller coaster everyone sees in the morning, so it’s the one EVERYONE gets in line for. It is VERY very fun though. Also, the Mantis is a lot of fun. It’s a stand-up roller coaster. Oh, and Iron Dragon is boring. Corkscrew might hurt your back and Mean Streak also. Gemini…isn’t that fun either. OH what am I talking about? They’re ALL fun…just some more than others, and based on how fun the FUNNEST are, they don’t seem like as much fun. Millenium and Top Thrill are UHHHMAZZING if you sit in the very front!
Elizabeth just blah...
I worked at CP for two summers while in college. The coasters are what we’re famous for. DO NOT MISS the Millenium Force, Magnum, Mantus or Raptor. CP is the best theme park I’ve ever been too. The park is clean, the food is good and the people friendly. But, watch your wallets…it can get expensive!
