read the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R R Martin

Finished the second book now. Amazing story. Though some of the secrets were ruined by some loudmouth in class when he saw me reading it. “Ohh! Have you gotten to the part where….” Gah!

I have completed A Game of Thrones and enjoyed it immensely. I definitely think this would be worth doing.

I finally read the first book and wow… sooo good.
I wish I had some friends that had read this so I could talk to them about it. I was so surprised at the end I put the book down and stared at it for a while. I really hope it stays this good.

Yep, four books down, and three yet to be published (or written) books to go.

I really didn’t like the way GRRM ended up dividing book four. I think he should’ve continued with the little from everyone sampler and never would’ve needed a “to be continued.” That’s how the first three books really were anyway. And, damnit, if he’d technically already written half of the next book anyway, there’s no excuse for it not being released sooner.

I haven’t read the latest book due to time issues, but will definitely get around to it! Spring break is coming up and that’ll be a good chance :)

I’m waiting for book 4 to come out on paperback before I buy it. I like the book series I own to “match”.

Loved them. Loved A Feast for Crows, too, even though numerous people said they didn’t like it due to lack of favorite POV chapters etc.

Cersei finally got what she deserved—or is going to, I think. I absolutely love to hate her.

The entire mess is stunning. Read it.

Oh my! Just the most gripping book ever! I can’t wait to keep reading.

They’re great! Some of the best SciFi/Fantasy I’ve read in a while. Robin Hobb’s stuff is pretty good, and I just got started on a Robert Jordan book but I think the Fire and Ice series are better.
Can’t wait for Feast for Crows!!
