 How I did it: On the night we were married on the beach, my husband and I tossed a bottle into the ocean with a copy of our wedding blessing inside. Two months later, 1000 miles away, a woman found it on the beach and took the time to send us a message of her own.

I love to write poetry. So im going to write something good and im going to toss it into the ocean.
Ive always been attached the the sea. Over the summer all i ever did was ride my bike to the ocean and write poetry while listening to music. It was relaxing and peaceful because i got a secret spot that nobody really goes to. Looking forward to this goal…

i have bought one bottle and am currently experimenting with dying it different colours, seeing it food dye will stick to glass if it doesnt then ill have to find something else…

I am going on holiday with Ben at the end of September! Hopefully I will do this then as something to memorise the time away.
AND to offset the fact that I will be throwing a bottle into the ocean… I guess I will donate some money to some environmental charity. I will give it some thought before I do… and make my message count!!!!

I want to make a small note, of all the advice I have to give and any experiences I have to share.
The person who receives it can take it on board or disregard it, this way I can share problems, secrets and hang-ups without feeling to vulnerable, and maybe let people know that they’re not alone.
