Hike down into the grand canyon

On my last vacation to Arizona we hiked about a half mile down into the grand canyon and met a man on his way up he said “You’ve got a long ways to go – it’s worth it. You’ll never see its equal.” Unfortunately I was with family members either too tired, sore or young to want to go down. However now it is on my to do list!

a group of 8 friends and i are going to las vegas tomorrow night, from there we are driving to Zion national park, and then on to grand canyon, up to yellowstone national park and grand teton national park, back down to salt lake city for a night, bryce canyon, back to vegas and maybe even go to death valley…. all in all we will be gone a week
