Become a hobby astronomer

My telescope came in over the weekend while I was gone. I spent a while this morning trying to put it together, but ended up waking up at around 4pm when Michael called. It’s still sitting on my floor with several pieces waiting to be attached. But I’m getting there. Hopefully tomorrow morning I’ll get it finished and be able to start working on getting it adjusted. The instruction manual looks a bit “iffy”. I get the feeling it’s going to take me a while…

So I bought a telescope. It hasn’t come in yet, but I’m looking forward to when it acutally does. I wanted to enlist Michael’s help in putting it together, but he gets so fascinated by anything with moving parts that perhaps that wouldn’t be the best idea.

And I bought it with most of the money that I made from selling my DVDs and working overtime, so as not to encroach on the funds meant to pay off my bills. :)

It just makes sense to do this. Working at night has thrown off my schedule, and when I thought about hobbies I could take up at night, (for my nights off) it was either partying and drugs or this. I chose this. :)
