I drew myself in a belly dance costume with an outdoorsy background in the moonlight. I was pleased with the result :)

of my course. I spent a good several hours drawing today. I think I did okay considering how out of practice I am. We had to do a portrait of ourselves without a mirror which was actually better than I was expecting but not ideal. We are doing a block week of self-portraiture & I will be doing a lot more drawing for that!

I used to draw a lot when I was a kid but stopped in high school. I took a class over a year ago and loved it, but I haven’t done any drawings since. I can’t take any classes now so I just have to find a way to motivate myself.

I want to get back into the habit of drawing.

I’ve never made progress on this anyway.

I’m slowly starting to do this. I really like it.
