I am working on getting rid of the clutter that I have accumulated over the years. This is very difficult to me. When I do manage to get a system going, it just gets messed all up. It is very frustrating.

I am getting rid of excess stuff bit by bit. I am getting rid of a bag a week and feeling good at getting rid of it.
Bit by bit I am going through my clutter and getting rid of some of it. Last weekend I donated some stuff to the local second hand shop. I am going to aim to give a bag a week away as I find it is easier to do lots of little bits rather than trying to do it all at once. It just gets over whelming.
pinksugar is tired
I have a 3 week break from school coming up soon. I plan on going through ALL of my stuff and either selling, donating, or throwing away the stuff I don’t need.
I was not programmed to be a clutter free organized person…. it is just not me, as much as I would like to be this way. Or would I ? Would this make me anal? An A type? I am the opposite, carefree though very responsible, laid back, maybe Z type.
I put a small dent in my clutter today…..actually not just my clutter, a family’s worth of clutter. I cleaned out a small closet, put some clothes in a bag for the reuse it center, put all suitcases downstairs all in one spot, hung up some clothes, and vacumed…...it is a start. I am going to try and do a bit each day.
it’s nice crap, cool crap, or uneccessary crap.
the hardest thing to do, is pare it down. a lot of it is stuff that “i might need later”. but where do you draw the line? what can you do without? what stuff do you ‘like’ but won’t miss if it’s gone? what stuff is packed, and unused for years?
what stuff are you willing to drag around with you if you move AGAIN?
i now have a bookcase [leon’s] and a filing cabinet [staples] and i feel so much more organized. yay!
