"I was actually more nervous than I thought, but once I got in there I realized that people do this all the time, and it was actually exciting. It also didn't hurt that "There Will Be Blood" was so worth the effort!"

How I did it: After I realized most of my friends were either working or not interested in going to see There Will Be Blood since they didn't know much about it, I decided it would be fun to go by myself for once.

Lessons & tips: Go with your gut, after talking to about 5 people I had deduced that my gut was telling me it would be good to go by myself for a change and it was right.

How I did it: I found a foreign film on the AMC website. I found the time. I didn't purchase tickets online, but I guess if you wanted to make sure you did it, you'd buy the online tickets from the website so you make sure you go. Planned some time and did it! Read how I did it…

    Today I went to see “17 Again” at the cinema by myself. I’d never been to the cinema alone before. It was a good film, glad I did it! Zac Efron… one word – phwoar! I also like Matthew Perry and Michelle Trachtenberg! So yeah, it was cool!

    It’s so fun. I bring a blanket and I curl up and I laugh or cry and I don’t have to worry about whether the other person enjoys the movie or not. I think I want to see He’s Just Not That Into You tomorrow by myself.

    Once I got up the nerve to do this, I started doing it all the time. I love my friends, but for the most part we have completely different taste in movies. If I’m going to pay $10 for a ticket, I’d rather it be for something I actually want to see.

    I saw Lakeview Terrace by myself. I don’t know why I was so worried- the four people in line to buy tickets before me were all by themselves. It helps to go on a Sunday afternoon, there weren’t many people there and most were alone!
