StrongRedHead Why does applying to grad school have to cost so much?
Over the week, I have progressively gotten the den cleaner. It’s by no means done, but it looks great!! And it feels good to get that far. Little by little.
It might be done by the time I get my own place :)

Or.. my room.

That way, when it’s time to move, I know where everything is. Plus… the upstairs to my parents house won’t look so junky.

I got the small bathroom organized, it was very very easy because of the lack of stuff in there. Next up, the Master Bath- this will be a whole lot harder to do!

For so long i used every excuse as to why my house was a mess and it didn’t bother me. My mom was a pack rat, I am too busy with a small child to take the time, or better yet one day I will have a maid do all this for me. 3 kids later, still no maid and 1 conference where I learned from Brian Byro that I needed to take personal responsibility for the things that are wrong in my life, i have made the plunge to make myself a better homemaker by becoming more organized and structured. This has been very trying on me and my girls because of the discipline and lack of spending on my part. But wow I must say, the transformation is making my house look more welcoming when friends and family come over, now on to the closets. lol

Not literally. We have put our flat on sale, and had to smarten it up and empty it to make it more attractive.
Got rid of lots of furniture (was overcrowded) but when the storage goes, where do you put the content?
Clothes and loads of personal belongings had to go to hubby’s parents.
Can’t wait to get them back!

At least to the naked eye, I am doing better, anyway. I threw away the yellow bomb. Now I have two matching brown suede couches, and even an occasional table in my living room. I threw away the red stow-it-all bin and now use a distressed oak trunk instead for the extra diapers, wipes, diaper cream, etc.
Inside of the drawers and closets are a different story. I’d like little storage bins and containers. I need the container store. I need them badly! LOL!
