Stand by my man

He wasn’t able to call me this weekend. My constant prayer is that he’s healthy, uninjured, and thriving. This is the hard part of being here. Just gotta get through it.

I left my hometown, my grandson, my support system, my job I loved, and it was all to move 1200 miles away and be here while my husband pursues his dreams. It’s not just for him, since I missed him so much I thought the seven months apart would just about kill me!

What’s hard are these times when he’s in “the field” and unreachable for weeks and weeks. I’m alone in a strange town,trying to have a life. It’s hard and THAT’S why I’m awesome…. I love Hubby so much it’s worth it.

Love him so much and want to become more stable.

Just found out he’s been made Specialist! He’s super happy. I’m happy for him and proud, too. I’d still rather have him here, though.
