I have an awesome boss and great benefits but that’s about all I have in my job. I work for one of the largest companies in the world and most of our jobs are being sent over seas. I never saw myself in a corporate job. I love art and creativity, but it seems SOOOO easy to get sucked into something that is “comfortable.” I always ponder the “what ifs”...what if i get the promotion they keep saying I’ll get? what if i don’t make enough money if i quit, what if i try something new and it doesn’t work out? Hopefully someday i will have the strength and sense to walk away.

I will put in my resignation on December 21st (just before the company goes on Christmas break) and have my end date as Friday, February 1st.

The man gave me a pay rise. But I still hate the man. I still feel like the man doesn’t value the hard work I provide him.

I love my job. I absolutely love it. I love the people I work with. I love the “cause” we’re working towards. Love it all.
What I don’t love is the company I work for. I’m underpaid, overworked and undervalued. Worse thing is, even middle management feels the same way!
sigh
Only a few more months…and then I start a new working life – or just life in general.

I quit my job two weeks ago and now I’m my own boss. Besides having a huge learning curve in front of me, which I savor, I’m having fun in the process. So far, so good. Quote for the day: “It is wise to remember that neither failure nor success is permanent.”
