meijse is in the new year
Western
Pros: Near family, great ratings by The Globe, good extracurriculars, wide range of courses, have Linguistics and Med Science.
Cons: Fecking huge suburbian city. Fecking huge university. Limited residence.
Dalhousie
Pros: Near family, close to home (away but not-so-away), in Halifax which I love, lots of my friends are going, music scene, good scholarships, have Linguistics.
Cons: Their Ling isn’t very expansive, and mostly at MSVU anyway.
Mount A
Pros: Could live at home, music scene, I LOVE this town, hippie culture, great English department.
Cons: Residence is a party scene, no getting away from hometown losers, no Linguistics, and what the hell would I do with an English degree? Besides I want THE HELL OUT of this town (for now, anyway).
Waterloo
Pros: BKI program, a lovely town, lots of extracurriculars, nearish family.
Cons: Fecking huge university, ugly concrete campus, far away.
University of Cape Breton
Pros: Mi’kmaq Studies program!
Cons: it would lock me in, not very prestigious.
