BrianOuch!

I was recently scolded by a fellow 43Thinger about not having done anything with this goal yet.

My reply was that I wasn’t sure it was necessary anymore. My knee was still somewhat sensitive, but I’ve been able to hold my poses in Yoga, and in some ways my “bad knee” seems stronger than my “good knee.”

Well, a few weeks after my response, I was wrestling with one of my nephews (yes…stupid idea…especially since I started it). He takes his wrestling much more seriously than I do. I was playing…he wasn’t. In the process, he kicked me in my bad knee.

Yeah…so for the last few weeks my knee has been pretty messed up. I wore a brace for a while, skipped yoga for a while, and took it easy. During the road trip it didn’t hurt at all. When I got back it started hurting again. I’m thinking there is some stress issues there.

My knees is indeed better…but definitely not 100%. I’ve back to doing yoga, but avoiding some of the poses that put a lot of strain on that knee.

I’ve also spoken to one of the girls in yoga (she has previous experience with injured knees), and she’s given me some meditation ideas. She’s convinced that going to a doctor is a waste of time. I tend to agree, so I’m going to go through some of her ideas, and see how things go. 14 months ago
