Am restarting 365X2 on February 14.
Yesterday I took this, perhaps one of my favorite selfies left.

at local stores without any luck.
Now it is ordered, I feel better. Accomplished. Forward moving.

during the time when I am camera-cord-less. Next week I will post it and “officially” begin Poetic Reflections.
The first photo will be accompanied by the Margaret Fuller poem from 1844 which I posted here. I love it and I actually love the self portrait I snapped.

and it is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllll good!
I am realizing I want to put a lot of intention and energy here, including mindful consideration of details. I almost want to put off starting until after “You Can’t Take it With You” opens.
In fact, that is what my gut tells me, so that is what I am doing.
For now – find poems, decide on artistic details like costumes, setting, etc… and be patient while it all comes together (not my forte!)
AND… I like this goofy self portrait from today!

now, to find my battery charger.
I was away for most of the weekend and while gone, I found I didn’t have my charger with me and now? I can’t find it at all.
Working on not being too frustrated this AM amidst some frustrating circumstances.

The rule I created here is that I need to find the poem before I take the portrait.
I want the words to inspire the photo…. from start to finish.
(I may post a couple of the poems here tomorrow, or maybe not, so you can see what my mind/heart is thinking.)
