if ref. to previous entry, i did a few shifts helping out in oxfam but the people werent quite right and it felt wrong…
never the less after sending some emails looking for an internship i found one helping out in a charity that sells office space to charities only! ‘ethical properties’ where everything should be/trying to be ethical!! how cool!
the work is admin based – ideal since i wanted practice in an office environment -, people are nice, is local, the work is interesting, the only downside is that im not getting paid (but i do get lunch allowance but feel bad taking it) but im not getting over worked so its fine. cool huh??

i enjoy my part time job in a shop but cant help but think of other jobs that would be better for my time. i would love to work for the government or for oxfam or something but can never commit due to studies and stuff. i just hope that by learning i can give back more in the future than i could now!

im quite an obsesive person to an extent and will perform under pressure. i can see in my current job that i put alot into it and am doing well (already had a pay rise!!) however part of me thinks that i am slaving for the shareholders.
i want to eventually work for a non profit organisation (something like oxfam) so that i know my hardwork is helping someone/something and not just making someone rich.
