Hello everyone… thank you for all the cheers, encouragement and good wishes that I’ve received from you over the past year. Today our lovely daughter became a married woman. This goal is done now, with my heart full and spirit content, happy.

A million thanks to each and every one of you who commented, cheered or wished us well… it meant the world to me, and added to our happiness. I wish you all could have been here, with us and I suppose in a way you were. (((43T!)))

Tomorrow is the big day, Jen and Mike’s wedding day. Here is our little family last night at the rehearsal dinner. By tomorrow at this hour, I will have a new son!

Saturday evening. Evening rehearsal and dinner. Everything went well… had a good time, sheesh! Don’t know what is the matter with me. I’m just so calm and happy! Usually I get so nervous about any ol’ darn thing. All is running smooth as silk. :-)

And Jenny's dress 2 months ago

... hanging upstairs in the only place it will fit! Feels like it weighs 50 pounds.

Tuxedos... 2 months ago

check. My hubby and son picked them up yesterday :-)
Here, they wait for the big day.

Oh gosh... 2 months ago

only a few more days… I have the final tallies, have set-up the seating chart and will write out all the names in the same calligraphy I used on the invitations.

Last week before the wedding 2 months ago

Ter’s off on vacation time now so he going to be a great help with all the last-minute preps. Here, were off for our morning walk with Cali first thing. We talk a lot about the wedding these days… and are expecting typical little disasters but hoping for none ;-)

Saturday morning 4.25.09 2 months ago

Today Jen, Terry and I sat down and finalized the seating chart. I’m no wedding coordinator, but am learning that organization is key to simply getting things done, one thing at a time. The “big day”—two weeks and counting.

And we went 3 months ago

to the Men’s store to order Ter’s tuxedo. Black tux, ivory shirt, champaign tie and vest. Sharp!

I got 3 months ago

my dress I got my dress I got my dress! woo hoo! It’s a beautiful cobalt blue, just under the knee-length, Calvin Klein. I also got a sheer shoulder wrap and new shoes. Whew. Now I can relax a little and only worry about make-up, hair (ugh!) and the mani-pedi the day of. What a lot of fuss and bother, no? But ‘tis a special day and will be worth the extra measures of attention to detail.
