Apart from my oops at the movies, I didn’t drink a drop of alcohol since 22-05-08. Just goes to show that I don’t really “need” it in my life. Nevertheless, once I am in Mexico I will be having mojitos and margaritas… So I’m kinda glad I finished this off. Yeah, me!

Saturday, bf bought tickets for the Indy-movie, which was great.
But… (there’s always a but) he bought the love seat champagne arrangement, which meant that we were not only sitting in our own box with only 6 other people, but had a small bottle of champers and nibbles served freshly at the start of the movie.
Needless to say that I drank my share of that bottle.
Still:
non, rien de rien, non, je ne regrette rien!

I’ll follow this advice:

  • “Eliminate alcohol—for now. Alcohol doesn’t just loosen up social inhibitions—it can loosen up your resolve to eat moderate portions and choose healthy foods. It’s also loaded with calories. And, if you’re hung over, odds are you’re not going to be eager to exercise! Removing alcohol from your life for the next four weeks will prove to be an enlightening exercise. In fact, some of you will see an immediate slimming effect. Later in the program, you can bring alcohol back.”

I’m not a big drinker, but I tend to have 3-4 units of alcohol per week, in the form of a can of beer or a glass of wine.
Not drinking any alcohol at all seems an easy way to get started on the program.
