Play soccer twice a week for the next 3 months

This week I played on the first night but couldn’t make it to the second, because I had to work. There were some great games on the first night, and I wanted to play last night, but I ended up working until midnight. Business was actually pretty decent last night. So, I was glad I worked and didn’t spend any of it. So, today I am doing laundry and getting ready to work again, even though it is a holiday weekend. Actually, we might be busy this weekend. Or, we might be slow.

Played again tonight with two teams, both of which had some common members. The first game was pretty quick and I blocked 2 or 3 shots and then they were successful at getting it by me. My young defenseman kept standing in my visual area, and I couldn’t see the shot. The next 3 games were great, but I took a shot in the face. I thought it was going to be header level but I didn’t position myself right and I let it hit me in the face. However, I made my first realy head save tonight, as well.

I’ve been playing soccer once or twice a week for the past 3 weeks now, and I love it! I have such a good time watching the games and playing in them that I look forward to it. I’m definitely sticking to this goal.
