write a cover letter that doesn't make me sound like a complete douche bag

I got the basics down, so now I can customize it to whatever job I’m trying to finagle for myself. Done.

I’m having a hard time with the bragging aspect of the cover letter. I just can’t do it, so every time I think I’ve written a decent one, I’ll read over it and delete it immediately.

My resume, on the other hand, still looks quacktastic. :)

Over the past few days, I’ve started on approximately ONE MILLION cover letters only to get about two paragraphs in before giving up in disgust.

I am just not good at selling myself, y’all. The resume is looking pretty spiffy. The cover letter is…blank.
