I saw it two nights ago and i was left swooning and reeling. I am not sure yet if i will go and buy the books. But i am waiting for New Moon to hit the big screen with high expectations. And yes, Edward is on my mobile wallpaper! Those golden eyes are mesmerising.

wasn’t a bad flick, but was a chick flick none the less.

Definitely worth it, I don’t care what others said about it.
It was intense, emotional, and very well made.

The book was absolutely amazing, so I was expecting the film to be awful, and not well done. However, I enjoyed it, and even thought that Robert Pattinson played Edward well, despite being so skeptical about it. I thought the effects were good and it was well acted, though there was one dodgy bit of camera panning. xD Apart from that, it was great, with a great soundtrack as well.
I did find it annoying, however, at how much they missed out. Complete chapters of it, that I felt were necessary. And Jacob looked WAY over 15. Apart from that, it was pretty darn good.
Seeing it again tomorrow! And, I’m even more in love with Edward now :P

Chances are good that I will watch it this Friday or Saturday, depending on when my boyfriend is free. My treat, of course ;)

I’ve never read the book, so I can’t say how faithful of an adaptation it is. The first I heard about Twilight was at the San Diego Comicon this year. I had gone to a panel to see a preview of Push which stars Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans. The same panel featured a couple other films and casts, and one of them was Twilight. As soon as the cast started coming out all the girls in the audience started screaming. They showed a clip and it looked pretty good, but the cast seemed pretty clueless.
We’re showing the film at one of the theatres I work at, and I watched it tonight. There was a good plot and interesting characters, though the pacing seemed pedantic and there really wasn’t any growth during the film. It’s no Lord of the Rings nor Harry Pothead. Heck, it’s not even Lost Boys. I did like the mythology though and will watch the sequel.
