Because thank you cards are always all the rage, but I have THE worst handwriting on the planet, I decided to make my own note paper. This way I can type the message and sign it, and it’ll have an image of one of my paintings at the top to remind the gallery of who I am.
I sent my first two notepaper thank you’s out early this week. I originally had sent in a few written-by-hand cards before the move, but I didn’t feel as good about them as I do about this personalized paper. We’ll see if anything comes of it beyond spending more money than I need to on postage.
Either way, I think it’s a classy way to be professional about the whole rejection thing.
