diosagoddess is anticipating the end of her management training
This is the 3rd time I’ve changed the name of this goal. And this time, I would be sure to have a direction on fulfilling this goal. Goals about reading books is so difficult to cross-out of my list of goals not because I don’t read but because of that exactly. I’ve already read more than 12 books. I have to repeat it all over again.

diosagoddess is anticipating the end of her management training
I’ve seen this last last week, before my birthday. I wanted to buy it but I didn’t have the money at that time but I promised myself that I’ll buy this when I have the money and it’s still there when I get back. This would serve as my birthday present to myself. And just this morning, when I returned to the bookstore with the money, it is still there.
My copy looks exactly the same as the picture shown here. Very nice. My first hardbound book and it’s for children aged 10 and up. I’m just hoping this would still appeal to me. For a book that I’m not sure if I would really like, this is such a risk because it’s more expensive than the other books I’ve bought which I’m sure I would like. I just pray that my risk would be worth it.
What attracted me to this book? Captain Hook is one of the Disney villains with no redeeming qualities whatsoever (To start with, is there any Disney villain with even a single redeeming quality? Not counting those villains who turned out good in the following sequels). I’m curious about his life before he became the arch enemy of Peter Pan. Plus the “tagline” caught my attention: “Even the darkest (I’m not sure if the word is really ‘darkest’) of villains have a hero’s heart.”

I’m starting my count with this book I borrowed yesterday from a friend. I’ve read Tuesdays With Morrie and I like it. I cried over that book. I don’t knoiw why. I’m curious to know what would be my reaction with this book. A guy friend said that this book is one of his favorite and he cried over it so many times. Hmmm… I’ll see.

I’m going gaga over her Dark series books! I want to read them all! I’ve read 6 of the books in this series. Of that 6, I own/share(meaning, I’ve bought the book with my bestfriend paying half of the price) 4 of them. I borrowed the other 2. So far, there are 18 books in the series. I plan to collect all of them and the coming books. So I have 14+ books more to go.
