Last night at creamfields was just fantastic, I skipped out on the group I was with (Who were watching the Prodigy) and wondered off to the main tent to see Tiesto, catching a few moments of DJ Shadow on the way.
The whole set he did really caught up the whole crowd up into a cheering state and his slot was timed such that it got that sweet spot between everyone comming up, and not been tired.
Found a video for his set: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUXCMaLQo_8 – From the video, I was about 10 foot behind the guy filming, and a little more towards the edge of the tent, where it’s not as packed and you have more space to dance.

Wow, I’m getting pretty excited about this now.
But I need to work on my vicar costume, pronto. Ideally getting some UV reactive components to add to my vestments, or maybe sewing in to the scarf thingy some smaller glow sticks.
Note to self: Buy more batteries for Glow Poi.
I saw Tiesto in Montreal, Canada several years ago and it was one of the best nights I’ve ever had. Tiesto was fabulous and Montreal was the perfect city to see him play in.

I’ve wanted to see Tiesto live for the longest time, and finally will get a chance to this summer when he plays CreamFields. Hopefully there won’t be anything else on at the time it clashes with, though even if there is, he’s on the top of my list of acts to see this year.
I saw Tiesto last summer in Ibiza, and there is only one way to describe it … amaaaaazing! We were at Amnesia, and the minute Tiesto stepped into place, the whole place went mad, and didn’t let up until he stepped off … and even then we were all reluctant to let him go. One of the most amazing nights of my life. Whenever you get the chance to do this, GO FOR IT! You will NOT be disappointed.
I have seen him 2 or 3 times over the years. I think the first time was isos 3, then isos 4, and then again around when Nyana came out, or was that parade of the athletes. Anyways, I have only seen him in the US, which is totally different because i was standing in front of the decks and not in the middle of 30000 people. Either way, it is definitely WORTH DOING!
