First time visitors are often struck speechless by the austere grandeur of this cathedral. To avoid the hordes of tourists, however, you need to visit St. Paul’s as early in the day as possible, presumably right after it opens (at 8:30). The gallery opens at 9:30, so if you have strong legs, definitely climb up the dome and get a bird’s-eye view of this great city London. It’s an unforgettable experience.
Enjoy the trip!
